The pool is the floor.Big bags trade upstairs.
Post a price on any Solana coin or bid on someone’s bag. When they take it, coins and SOL swap wallet to wallet in one transaction. Nothing touches the pool, so the chart doesn’t move.

Built to be boring.
A desk you don’t have to trust. The rules live in a program on Solana, not on a server, and anyone can read them. Read how it holds →

Enforced on chain
The program only moves your side inside the same instruction that pays you your price. Both legs land, or nothing does.

Nothing is deposited. You approve an address only the program can sign for, for exactly your offer, and you can revoke it any time.
Where funds sit →Nothing in the middle
You pay the Solana network fee and a small rent for the offer account, which comes back to you when it closes.

Questions, answered.
Read the docs →What is Upstairs?
A desk where two wallets agree a price on a whole bag of a Solana coin. You post an ask on your bag or a bid on someone else’s; when the other side takes it, the coins and the SOL swap in one transaction. No pool is involved, so the chart doesn’t move.
Why not just sell through the pool?
A pool prices every trade on a curve: the bigger your sale against the pool, the worse each coin fills and the further the chart drops for everyone watching. On Upstairs the price is the one you set, whatever the size.
Where are my coins while my offer is up?
In your wallet. You approve the desk, an address only the Upstairs program can sign for, for exactly your offer. Nothing moves until someone takes it, and then only in the same transaction that pays you.
Can someone take more than I offered, or pay less?
No. The program checks the terms on every fill: the amount left, the expiry, the taker if the offer is private, and your price, rounded in your favour. If any check fails the whole transaction fails.
Can I cancel?
Any time before it’s filled. Cancelling closes the offer and returns its rent, and the app lowers or revokes the allowance in the same transaction. An expired offer can’t be filled and can be closed by anyone; the rent still goes back to you.
Is the program audited?
Not yet. It’s small, written to do one thing, and tested on every path, including the ways a taker might try to bend the terms. Trade sizes you’re comfortable with until it is.
